Seven everyday annoyances we set out to fix in work management
Talqivo was shaped by public complaints about popular work tools. Here are the seven we wrote down first, what we aim for, and what we cannot promise.
Talqivo is a work-management workspace for teams of roughly 5 to 200 people. We started from what people say in public about the big tools in this space. The same complaints come up again and again. This post lists seven of them and says what we aim for in each case.
This is a statement of intent, not a feature tour. Where a detail depends on your plan, we say so and point to the live catalogue.
1. Personal view changes that disturb everyone
A team shares one list, but each person works differently. One person wants a Board, another wants a Table, another wants the Calendar. Changing your own view should not rearrange the screen for your colleagues. We build views so that personal changes stay personal. Shared views remain available to the whole team.
2. A noisy inbox
Most teams mute their notifications within a week. After that, important messages get lost with the rest. The Inbox in Talqivo is meant to start quiet. Reminders live alongside it, so a deadline can still reach you without a flood around it.
3. Seat cost that appears after the invite
It is uncomfortable to learn what a new seat costs only after you have invited someone. We show the seat cost before an invite is sent. Plans, limits and prices are read from the live plan catalogue, so the numbers you see are the numbers that apply. We wrote more on this in a separate post.
4. Slow capture
An idea has a short life. If it takes six clicks to turn it into a task, it often stays in your head or in a private note. We want common actions at typing speed. Search is a good example. Press Ctrl+K and you can look for work from wherever you are.
5. Confirmation dialogs instead of undo
"Are you sure?" interrupts everyone, including the people who are sure. It also gives little protection to the person who clicked the wrong thing. We prefer to let you act and then undo.
6. Hosting and exit
Talqivo is EU-hosted on every plan, and GDPR is the default. You can export your data in full. We aim to avoid billing traps, which is why plan limits are listed in the open.
We do not make legal claims here. If your organisation has specific data-protection requirements, check them against our documentation and your own advisers.
7. An interface in your language
The interface is available in English, Português (Portugal), Español, Français and Deutsch. These are native translations of the product, not an afterthought. A team that works in German or Portuguese should not have to translate its tool first.
What this post does not promise
We have no customer numbers, reviews or awards to show you, and we will not invent them. Plan limits change with the catalogue, so check the pricing page before you decide. AI help is opt-in per workspace, and its monthly quotas depend on the plan. We describe the browser product here. We have not announced phone or desktop apps as published.
If you want to see what is included, browse the feature directory at https://talqivo.app/features and compare it with your own list of annoyances. If your list is different from ours, we would like to hear it.
